Davar is in Lochinver, right in the heart of the parish of Assynt. Please ask us about walks and sights in the area:

Beaches - Achmelvich, Clachtoll and Clashnessie are all in easy reach. 

Boat trips - leaving from Lochinver and Kylesku!

Dining - We have some lovely options in the village and the surrounding area.

Fishing - the local angling club offer access to dozens of lochs all packed with trout.

History - from Neolithic caves to an iron age broch (and many more sites from both eras) through the remnants of the Highland clearances and more modern history Assynt has more historic sites than you would imagine.

Mountains - Ascend the iconic Suilven, a quick hop up Stac Pollaidh, Cul Beag is Daves favourite, or there's Canisp, Cul Mor, Breabag, Ben Mor, Conival, Glas Bheinn or ..... we've been up them all and can offer advice on routes.

Waterfalls - Who doesn't love a majestic waterfall and we have so many.
